The Jefferson Jammers was started by Joann & Bruce Hamilton, along with their daughter Peggy Martin-Black, their new friends Cece & Francis Garceau, and musician friends Pete Yokum and Jeff Marcec
The first few times were held in the community laundry room where Joann & Bruce lived. The Jam was growing rapidly with such popularity each week, that a larger space was needed. Bruce started looking and soon found the ideal place, the Morningstar Grange.
We are grateful to our founders and our friends for creating this wonderfully welcoming community. Together we embody the very spirit of a wholesome community, one that maintains its sense of kindness and appreciation for each other, country music, dancing, and wholesome family-friendly social gathering at a traditional National Grange hall.
We look forward to welcoming you.
