The Journey Guide is what we use in the circles so that we are all discussing the same things. The guide is simply a starting point for you. This circle will focus on how to play these common country music chords.

CIRCLE 3 - NASHVILLE
In this circle we will focus on learning the Nashville Number System. Learning this system is not required to play in country music Jams like ours, but it is a great skill to learn.

We teach the Nashville Number System for two reasons:

It will help you see just how simple songs really are, both to learn and to play.
It will help you learn how to play any song in any key.

Our Acoustic Lessons in the Round is our informal pre-JAM learning time. There are 4 circles, each focused on a single topic.

If you are just beginning then start with Circle 1 - CHORDS. As you feel comfortable with chords, you can move to Circle 2 - RHYTHM and so on. You DO NOT need permission to move to another Circle, because this is your journey.

be on the same page so they can learn better together.

CIRCLE 2 - RHYTHM
In this circle we focus on different country guitar rhythms. We will work through each rhythm as a group. While these are not the only rhythms used, they are a great starting point. We will also combine some of the rhythms to help you learn how different rhythms work together.
